End of January 2010 Poster

As we begin a new year, it's hard to believe the first month has already gone. But here it is, the end of January 2010.

I think there's more snowmen on the poster than there is on the ground!

Lexie-ism

So Rian is at our house because he doesn't want to drive home in the weather. He, Lexie and Tanner are playing Super Mario Brothers on the Wii. Lexie keeps making the same mistake.......

Lexie-Why do I keep doing that!?
Me-Lexie, what color is your hair?
Lexie-Shut up!
Me-Hmmmm, I haven't heard of that color before.

Happy Birthday! You're a Teenager!!!

Today is Lexie's 13th Birthday! Woohoo! She's a teenager! I can't believe child #5 is a teenager already. What happened to my little, tiny baby girl. Oh yeah. She grew in to my little teenage girl. She is so sure of who she is and where she's headed already that it can be a little scary at times.

She loves playing soccer and wants to try out for Competitive this year

Blowing out the candles. See the cute hat Sister Christin Taylor made her for her birthday? And the new shirt I bought her

Typical Lexie licking off the cake decorations

Tanner's Very Special Day

We woke up to a very snowy white morning. White was a very appropriate color for today....Tanner's baptism day. Though the weather kept some family members from being able to come, he had his siblings (minus Elder Gary), cousins--Tiffer, and Arek and Tamsyn, and many, many friends to witness this special occasion. His Aunt Maridene and Aunt Sirena were headed up with his Grandma and Grandpa Jenkins, but had to turn around being only 30 miles away because of extremely slick icy roads. But they sure wanted to be there! And since it was his day, he got to pick what we had for lunch/dinner.....of course it was PIZZA!!!

Tanner after we got home with his new pink Baptism day tie

He's so excited because it's a big boy tie and not a clip on. And he has learned how to tie it

Ready for church tomorrow with his new pink tie and brand new scriptures

Congratulations Tanner on making one of the most important decisions you will make for your life. We love you!
