Happy Happy Birthday Mommy Dear!

My mom has raised 7 children and is now seeing her grandchildren getting married and starting their own families. She deserves to have a very Happy Birthday.

Birthday of a Father-in-Law

Today is my Father-in-laws birthday. He has lived most of his life in Wyoming, but now spends his days in Utah. He has had a long, eventful life. He has seen many things come and go and many things change in his lifetime. Some good and some not so good. But progress none the less.

And here he is with Zach and Sara. Another grandsons wedding.

Birthday on St. Patricks Day

Today is my mother-in-laws (Elaine Jenkins) birthday. It is also St. Patricks Day. She was born in Los Angeles, California and lived there until she was married. Then she moved to Freedom, Wyoming (Star Valley). They lived in a little tiny house that was used for the boys to stay in when taking care of the dry farm. They didn't have running water, a bathroom or any of the necessities. They built on to that house, raised 6 kids and had numerous grandkids in that house. They are now in Layton, Utah, where they have lived for the last 2 years. It wasn't an easy life, especially coming from the big city, but she did it. Happy Birthday Mom Jenkins!

1961-2009

Today is my parents anniversary----48 years, 7 children (spouses), 24 grandchildren (3, and almost 5, with spouses), and 1 (2 next month) great-grandchildren later, I think they are still happy, if not a little nuts from it all. I don't have the pictures my sister has, but I do have some from the wedding in November.
